West Wendover Logistics Park
West Wendover is located on the Utah and Nevada border. Utah companies and companies serving the Intermountain West, and the general Western U.S. that are considering a Nevada location, will benefit by locating to West Wendover. The location places them in the business friendly state of Nevada; yet maintains access directly to the Intermountain West markets as well as the general markets of the Western U.S. West Wendover is a growing gaming/tourism city with an aggressive plan to diversify. Their city government encourages new types of industry to locate to their city and has constructed the first phase (30 acres) of their new logistics/industrail park, including general infrastructure (streets, water, sewer, power, etc).
The City of West Wendover is interested in partnering with developers by offering land incentives not only to appropriate businesses that are interested in locating in the logistics/industrial park, but as well to developers willing to build spec buildings. Spec buildings will be marketed by the City of West Wendover and used to attract new companies. The City will provide companies and builders with low-cost and/or no cost land in meeting diversification initiatives.
Wells Industrial Park
The City has constructed a 160-acre Industrial Park that is ready for occupancy.
More than 110 acres remaining, mostly developed. This park, located adjacent to the municipal airport, has parcels of varying sizes and is fully served with water, sewer, electricity, and telephone. The Industrial Park has been strategically located to benefit from multi-modal transportation opportunities that could greatly benefit manufacturing, shipping and distribution operations.
The City of Wells is interested in builders and developers that are willing to build spec buildings in their park. The City of Wells could provide builders with deferred payments on land, low-cost developed property, affordable utilities and can help facilitate construction and permitting.
